How to Play

The goal is to complete the 9×9 Sudoku grid by filling every empty cell with a number from 1 to 9.

A valid Sudoku solution follows three rules:

  • Each row must contain the numbers 1–9 without repeating.
  • Each column must contain the numbers 1–9 without repeating.
  • Each 3×3 box must contain the numbers 1–9 without repeating.

Controls

Mouse / Touch

  • Select a cell: Click or tap an empty cell on the board.
  • Enter a number: Click or tap one of the number buttons from 1 to 9.
  • Notes: Toggle Note Mode to add candidate numbers instead of final answers.
  • Erase: Clear the selected cell.
  • Hint: Fill in one correct cell when you are stuck.
  • Check: Check whether your current board has mistakes.
  • New Game: Start a fresh puzzle.

Keyboard

  • 1–9: Enter a number into the selected cell.
  • Backspace / Delete: Erase the selected cell.
  • N: Toggle Note Mode.
